Sterling Spence

Sterling Spence grew up between Micronesia and the San Francisco Bay Area, developing a lifelong commitment to global service and community building. While in college, Sterling lived and served as a teacher on the island of Yap, deepening his connection to the Pacific and its people. He has spent over a decade working with nonprofits that bridge local and international impact, leading programs focused on youth development, leadership, and health equity. Sterling holds degrees in Management, Religious Studies, and Nonprofit Ethics, and brings both strategic and cultural insight to Canvasback’s mission of transforming health and inspiring service across the Pacific.
