Janet Burki
Janet Burki brings more than three decades of leadership, engineering, and humanitarian experience to her work with Canvasback Missions. She served as President and CEO of GE Imatron, leading the development of the world’s fastest CT scanner prior to its acquisition by General Electric. Later, she managed logistics and operations on the U.S. military base at Kwajalein Atoll before dedicating her efforts to nonprofit service. Janet now serves as Chair of Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County and as a logistics leader on Canvasback’s medical teams throughout Micronesia. Her unique blend of executive expertise and compassion for people helps ensure that every mission runs with excellence, integrity, and care.
