Want to go somewhere else besides Florida? 

A supporter has donated a one week one-bedroom condo/timeshare which can be rented for $800. These units accommodate four and occasionally six people. The unit has been banked with an exchange company so it can be used throughout the U.S. and the world. Past users have gone to Orlando, Williamsburg, Aruba, Hawaii, and Paris. Usage is usually from Saturday or Sunday for a week. The more you can plan ahead, travel during shoulder or off-season, and are able to be flexible, the more likely a unit can be found to meet your needs. For example, you can go to Hawaii any month of the year. But if you have to have a specific date or location, then the odds go down. Only Orlando and a few other places have that kind of availability.
 
You can go to rci.com and click on "resort directory" to get an idea of where resorts are located.  Just because a resort exists doesn't mean there is availablity, as some resorts are very exclusive.  If there are a lot of resorts in an area, there is more availability. If you're interested please send an e-mail to travelingonthecheap@live.com with your questions or requests.
